EV EXPO 2012 : EXHIBITORS

Overview

Tampa, Florida is rapidly becoming the most 'connected' communities in the Southeast, underscored by one of the most aggressive public charging station rollouts in the nation. The Greater Tampa Bay area, which includes the Tampa, St. Petersberg, Sarasota, Floria metro areas is the home of some 4 million residents. An hour's drive away, the Greater Orlando area includes another 2+ million. It makes sense from both geographic, climatic, and demographic reasons to consider the area a "Mecca" for future electric vehicle rollouts from bicycles to buses and even boats.

EV Expo Audience

Exhibitors should be interested in reaching an audience drawn from three key market sectors: Consumers, Business, and Planners. These are the sectors that EV Expo focuses on.

Within the consumer sector, EV Expo aims to introduce them to a broad range of electric vehicles and their supporting technologies. This includes not only the vehicles, but charging and DIY conversion equipment, solar technologies, batteries and more.

The business sector not ony involves the aquisition and operation of various types of EVs, including fleets, but also the opportunities to participate in the early stages of the transition between petroleum-dependent transportation systems and those that can literally be powered by the sun.

As those vehicles and their support systems gradually begin to enter the mainstream, what environmental, economic and sociological impact will they have on our communities large and small and how do we respond in a constructive manner. Those are the issues facing city planners, builders, architects, developers, and financial institutions. That's the audience to which Day 3 focuses its attention.
